The Brentwood Firecracker 5K!
On the 4th of July 2019, we did our first ever event with the Pittsburgh DJ Truck. The Brentwood Firecracker 5K! One of the largest, longest running, and most popular 5K races in the Tri-State area, it attracts both elite athletes and families with miles of cheering by spectators.
This happened to be a short notice job when their regular DJ had a family emergency.. so we asked if they minded if we brought the unfinished truck to the event. We didn't even have our name on the truck yet! But the crowd loved it and it we quickly realized that it would be very popular!

Now we have a cool logo and we had it added to the truck. Pittsburgh DJ Truck has a retro, almost industrial vibe. We named it Street Beats. It's a 1988 Chevrolet P30 and it's awesome! A new exhaust system and several other updates to make it reliable! We love these pics, it's always fun to see the early stages.
